All About Me The beginning of the year is such an important time for students to get to know one another. "All About Me" is a group of activities for students to complete to share about themselves and learn about their fellow classmates. Farm Animal Unit This unit includes three activities - a minibook of 10 pages (cover page and 9 animal pages each with the name of the animal, its baby's name, and what it is gives us such as milk, eggs, etc). Then there are two cut and paste activity pages where students can match information given in book about each animal. One cut and paste focuses on baby names and the other on products or services they bring us. $1.99

Holiday Traditions from Around the World A unit of holiday traditions celebrated around the world during the winter months. This download includes 11pages - 8 1/2 X 11 each. 1 cover page, 9 pages with information about various holidays and tradistions, and 1 page for students to illustrate a tradition from their family. When teaching this activity, I make a book using construction paper - binding it at the top. Glue the first page to the front creating your cover. Next 9 pages get glued inside the book at the top of each page turn. Final page, where students illustrate a holiday tradition of their own, gets glued to the back.
The 9 information pages get glued to the top and an art actvity matching the information is completed on the bottom. I have attached two pictures below to illustrate suggested ideas for creating art activies for the Christmas tree, Chinese New Year Dragon, Poinsetta and Santa Lucia. $1.99 |

Native Americans - Tribes of North America
A unit of some of the different tribes that have lived in North America. This download includes 24 pages - 8 1/2 X 11 each. 1 cover page, 1 instruction page, 9 pages with information about the different tribes and 13 pages for creating art activities to go with the different tribes. When teaching this activity, I make a book using a brown paper bag - binding the book with yarn at the top. Our Classroom Store - a money unit
A unit created to help students count coins, add up to triple digits, and to make change. After receiving a classroom paycheck, students get to go shopping to spend what they have earned. Each student keeps a shopping notebook where they paste pictures of all the items they have purchased along with the recording sheet (used for shopping). Through daily practice with money students develop mastery skills. This unit includes 26 total printable pages - 1 cover sheet, 3 pages to accompany story Alexander, Who Used to be Rich Last Sunday, 1 directions page, 1 page with recording sheet, 1 page with paper money, and 19 pages of objects to buy (76 total items students can purchase). $2.99 |
