“My Book of Words” was created to help students identify words commonly used for writing. Each
book includes: *26 pages, one for each letter of the alphabet, *one page filled with commonly used words (color, number, days
of week, months of year, and family), *plus a cover page.
Each alphabet page has commonly used sight words along with lines to write other words students
encounter in their daily writings. The first 300 words from the Frys list are included and asterisked on the alphabet
pages.
I encourage students to check the “Book of Words” when writing before asking the teacher
how to spell a word. If the word is not in the book, then I will help him/her correctly sound out and spell the word in their
book for future reference. $3.99
